IJislop, ex-Mayor of Wellington, died yesterday morning after a long illness. A London cable reports the death, from appendicitis, of .Mr. Clyde Fitch, the well-known dramatist and writer, fit the age of 44. Mr. Albert Bayly died at Oinata yesterday morning, after a long and painful illness, lie was sixty years of-age. The Turutmki County Council, at its meeting yesterday afternoon, directed that a letter of condolence and sympathy with the relatives of the lateMr. Bayly, at one time a member of the Council, be forwarded.
