The International Labor Conference at Paris complains that English worn■men are seeking (the exclusion of foreign workmen and have disregarded the Christiana Conference resolution that members of an affiliated union should be admitted as members- of corresponding unions •wherever they ■went. At Mr. Appleton's instance the Canfereee approved of the British Labor Party's attempts to secure the applications of the principles of the Foreign Enffistmcnt Act to eases of organised blackleg, expeditions to other States. Buda-Pesth, in Hungary, has been chosen as the place for the next conference. [ SECULAR EDUCATION. • ~ London, September 2. The trades union section of the Salford Catholic Association protested at the Trades Union Congress against the endeavors to secularise education.
