Mrs. George's orchestra .secured | the war.nest encomiums for tthe really I excellent music supplied, and the M.Cs,' Messrs. E. P. Webster, E. Humphries, | and E. Steele, .were most courteous and | attentive to their duties. The supper, arrangements were in charge of a cap-1 elile committee of ladies, and the ex-1 celience and abundance of the refresh--taients merited all praise. The men's Committee undertook the duties of waiting table, and ensured a comfort for j Iwtrons that is very often absent at ' -lctiens of this kind. The 1809 social of the club will long be remembered as cne of the most successful yet held.
