AUCKLAND SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, in the second trial of Oscar Volfrcd Sgovoll, on a charge of committing an indecent assault upon a little girl- seven years of age at Hamilton, the jury, after retiring for over two hours, brought in,a verdict of "guilty." Prisoner was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment. Albert Charles Weingott, on .a charge of horse-stealing, was sentenced to 18 months'. Charles Rolton, charged with carnatly knowing a girl under 16 at Pacroa, was found guilty and remanded for sentence. INVERCARUILL SITTING*. liivcrcnrgill, Lust Night. The Supreme Court concluded the hearing of n wages case, William Gregory v. Mary Gregory (administratrix) anil James S. Oregon-, claim under a will- for £312, six years' wages at ti a week, as manager of the farm. The case was a family mutter, in which all parties were beneficiaries under the will. His Honor said plaintiff was entitled to something, but not CJ a week, as the -proceeds of the farm were small and the amount named would trench on the estate. Plaintiff was entitled only to flic amount to which the estate benefited by his' service. He awarded £75 and costs to come out of the estate.
