Australia, nine of the Maoris were arrested under an order of tile Court, obtained by Mr. Jack in connection with Ins claim for a share of the profits accruing from a former visit of the Maori*. Hatters were, however, arranged, and the men under arrest were released to enable them to play. llie trouble arose out of the last tour of a Maori team. On August 25th of last year, R. M. Jack obtained a decree in a suit against Albert Asher, and other members of the team, by whom money was due to him, and this decree has not been satisfied. 'On August sth last, Jack obtained an interim injunction against Asher and eight others of the team, who were in last year's team, preventing them from receiving from the Football League, or front any trustees or agents, any part of the proceeds of the present tour, HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT.
