VICKISRS & STEVENS' REPORT. There was a large number of stock in our Inglewood yards on Wednesday, springing cows mid heifers being largely represented. The following prices were obtained:—Cows and heifers close up £4 15s to £7, backward £3 10s to £4 10s, store cows £2 to £3, bulls £1 to £5, yearlings 25s to £2. On Friday at Mr. Goldsmith's clearing sale forward cows realised from £5 to £7 12s 6d, backward £3 10s to £5, yearlings 37s fld, horses from £9 10s to £2O 10s.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows:—At our Wanganui sale o„ Wednesday a good yarding, slightly in excess of advertised numbers, came foiward. 1200 sheep and 350 cattle being (literal, and there was a good attendance. ADDINGTON. There was a fairly large entry of stock and a good attendance at the Addington stock sales on Wednesday. Two-tooth crossbred ewes made 14s 4d, two-tooth halfbrecls of medium qual'ty 13s 3d, two, four, six, and eight-tooth crossbreds 12s Od to 14s, six-tooths 13s Gd, sound-mouth ewes 10s to 12s, aged !>s to 10s, small and inferior 76 2d. A few aged ewes with lambs 'were passed at 7s 4d. Good ewe hoggets made 12s to 13s, mixed sexes (good) 10s to 10s Od, medium sorts 8s fld to 9s 6d. A line of Down cross hoggets was passed at 10s 3d. Wethers sold at 8s to lis Bd. Eighteen new season's fat lambs were penned, and they sold at 14s to 18s. The range of prices was: Extra prime wethers 19s to 20s Is, prime wethers 15« to 18s Od, others 12s Gd to 14s Od, prime ewes 14s to 10s, others lis to 13s 6d, hoggets 12s 8d to 13s 3d, merino wetheis 14s Gd.

tat Cattle: The quality of the yarding was of the fair average order. Steers made £0 10s to £ll ss, heifers £8 to £9 2s Od. cows £4 17s ltd to £8 10s—equal to 20s to 22s Gd per 1001b for pnine, 18s Gd to 20s for medium, and lbs I'd to 18s for cow and inferior beef.
