WAREA. An extraovdnary general meeting of the Warea Dairy Company. Ltd., was held in the hall on Monday, August 2:ird. A fair number of- shareholders j Mere present. Mr. James Burgess, chairman of the retiring directors, was in the chair. The meeting was called for the purpose of confirming the special resolution passed at tile meeting held on August 2nd, re altering the Articles' of Association. The adjourned annual meeting was also held after the extraordinary -meeting, for the purpose of electing live directors for the ensuiilg year. -Mr. Corbett moved that the Articles of Association be taken as read. -Mr. James Burgess proposed that the resolution passed at last meeting be ear-, ried, and this was seconded bp Air. \V. lil'VDll.
The adjourned annual meeting was 11 su held. The following nominations were received by the secretary for tile directorate: .Messrs. James Burgess, George Jones, Changs Wells, William J'evell, Alexander Charles Magon. Alfred Clothier, and Alexander Macdonnld. The election was decided by ballot, and the following live directors were elected: Messrs. George Jones, J as. Burgess, William Revcll, Charles Wells,j and Alfred Clothier. I

U'JH and the directors no ]>ay. —On bcinir put to the meeting it was lost. The meeting then terminated. A meeting' of the Transport Motor Company was then held. Mr. G. V. .Tones, the delegate appointed at the first meeting to represent the local dairy company at the conference, gave his report on the meeting, and said it was not much use placing it before this meeting. as a company had been formed without; the dairy factories. Mr. Burgess spoke on the benefit of this company and the motor service to the coast. It i-' the intention of the company to run passenger cars to and from Xcw Plymouth and Opirnake, and they intend tendering for the mail service, for which they can run the trip in one day. A large number of shares were taken up at the meeting, and the total number now stands at l&W sharps. The new directors of the dairy factory held a subsequent meeting, at which Mr. .lames Jiurges's was selected chairman for the year. The Puniho suppliers waited on the directors to sec if they could come in with Warea cheese factory, or whether they could get a cheese plant put up the Puniho road. Mr. Pcreival. architect of the new cheese factory, who was present, said the factorv was not large enough to take any move than their own suppliers, and it would cost too much now to alter the building-'. The directors resolved that they could not cnterkii'a building 1 a. che'e-e factory up the Puniho road on the conditions placed before them. Mr. V. P. Jlobinson returned home from his trip to T'higland on Tuesday, looking much better for his holiday.
