Mr. Kidston staled that the (lovernment hail not taken action with regard to the dissolution earlier because it was vital that the Stale should be represented at the Premiers' Conference. The House hail outlived its usefulness, and it was high time the country had an opportunity of sending in one party or the other. The Lieutenant-Governor bad accepted his advice to dissolve, provided the Hoiise granted supply.
