LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. MISS BREWSTER WINS COROXV TIOX MEDAL By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palineistoii X., Last Nignt. At tile ladies' golf championship today, Mi.cs Brewster (Xew Plymouth) won the Coronation Medal with 101—25 —7O. She would also have won the Donnelly Cup on the same score, but she was not entered for it, consequently the Donnelly Cup goes to Miss N. Gorrie, 08—20—7S, second in the Coronation Medal. Miss Brandon, 80—0—80, was next best; Miss Stephenson was 92—0—80.

In the North v. South Island match, North won by 508 to 503. Miss Brandon 80 and Miss Stephenson 02 were the best scores for North, and Miss Rattray 03 for South.

■Miss Brandon and Miss Cowper, Miss Humphreys and Mrs. Bevan, meet in the championship semi-final to-day.

ANNUAL MEETINGS. Palmerston N., Last Night. The Ladies Golf Union .and the Golf Council both held their annual meetings to-night. The Golf Union has now 20 clubs affiliated. The election of olficcrsf resulted: —President, Miss Rattray (Dunedin); vice-presidents, Mrs. Hope Lewis (Auckland), Mrs. Von. Zodlitz (Wellington), Mrs. Vernon (Christchurch), Mrs. Butterworth (Dunedin), Miss tStephenson (Ngamotu). Mrs. Mcllaop (Manawatu) was re-elected lion, secretary. It was decided to hold the next home club's Coronation Medal contest on the last Friday in May. It was also decided that in future delegates be appointed by the clubs' committees. The Golf Council meeting resolved that clubs come to a mutual arrangement about visiting members' fees; that the championship programme be considered by all clubs and reviewed at the next nnual meeting; that next year's championship meeting be held on the Shirley links (Christchurch). Instead of first and second prizes' in future handicap events, one prize will be devoted to players not exceeding fifteen handicap, and one to those over it.
