Fremantlc, August 23. file steamer Furtli, from Js,.isi .undon, conducted au unavailing search for the Waratah. A PESSIMISTIC-VIEW. Received 2-J, 12.5 a.m. Sydney, August 23. The steamers Magdala and Wongafell, which left Durban and Capetown respectively within a day or two of the Waratah, report terrific weather just after their departure. The Magdala's captain is pessimistic regarding the Waratah. The Magdala brings mails posted by the Waratah's passengers at Durban, REINSURANCE SPECULATION. Rceived 23, 11.50 p.m. London, August 23. A large amount of business was being done on Saturday in connection with the Waratah at 85 per cent. ,
