TARANAIU COMPANY. A meeting of the directors of the laranaki Petroleum Company was he'd on l'riday night. The ml is altogether different from that previously obtained on the field, and the directors are anxious to test its commercial, value. THE MOTUROA FIELD. I A rumor was current in town on Saturday evening that the obstruction ha.! been removed from No. 3 bore. Mr Kmpsoii, tkctoanager, states that this is so. The' wire rope has been got out with the exception of about twelve feet from a special joint to the sandpump. Owing to necessity for repairs to a break on the spool It. will be nine o'clock before work re-commences this morning, but Mr. Simpson expects to have the bore clear to-dav.
