Fat cattle and fa.t sh;?p sold below last week's rates, store sheep were dull of sale, and pigs met with good demand. The entry of store sheep was smaller than of late. Dairy cattle sold well. The ewes included a few good lines of two, four, and six-tooths. There were a few lots of ewes and lambs, the lint offered in the yards this season. J he demand was void of animation, and. several of the best lines failed to reach owners'' reserves at auction, but were sold privately. A specially good line of 201 six and eight-tooth halfbred ewes made 18s Od, 203 two-tooths 10s Od, and 107 four-tooths were passed at 17s' Od. The entry of fat cattle totalled 330 of fair average quality, and prices showed no change from the previous week, when they were.! rather firmer than tha week before.
