MINERS' 8-HOURS' ACT.
A TEST CASE. By Gable—Press Association.—CopyrigM Received 20, 10.45 p.m. London, August 20. In a test case arising out of the Miners' Eight Hours Act, where the men refused work for an extra hour on two specific days, the Stipendiary Magistrate at Rhondda held that there should be a nine-hours day on 00 days annually, gad on the remaining days eight hoars each. Judgment was accordingly given for the employers. An appeal against the .judgment wtf entered.
