Bates' weather forecast:—Moderate to strong southerly winds, changing by west to northerly, are probable generally. Fair weather is probable northwar.l of Tlolvitika and Oamarn, and chanyi'able weather in the southernmost districts. An area of low pressure is now advancing from the westward, and will probably cause very unsettled weather shortly 10 the south of Xew Plymouth and Napier.
