WANGANUI TOURING TEAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The following is the Wanganui hockey touring team:—Goalkeeper, Marshall"; backs, Cave and Martis; halves, Keed, Spear, Fear and McDougall; forwards, Barnctt, Harris', Kerohan, Murchie, Neylor and Rueseil.

TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the executive of the Taranaki Hockey Association was held last evening (Mr. W. H. Perham presiding), to consider a proposed visit of a representative team to Wanganui, Palmerston North and Napier this season.

I The secretary reported that Manawatu could play at Palmerston North on Wednesday, September 1 or 8, and Wanganui at Wanganui 021 Thursday, September 2 or 0. No reply had been received from liawke's Bay. Delegates thought there would be & better chance of getting a good team away to Palmerston North and Wanganui (to take four days) than for a team to include Napier. It was decided to provisionally accept the Manawatu and Wanganui dates, September 8 and !), and to ascertain at once what players could make the trip. If players can get away, Mr. It. B. Anderson will be asked to select the team i to play m $ trial match against a Ha- j wera team, at Hawera, on Thursday,' September 2. The representative team would leave ,031 Tuesday, September 7, and return on the following Friday.
