The rain lias now eeasnll, but owing to the state of the ground's the ladies' championship golf tournament has been postponed till to-morrow morning. The coursing meeting lus also been postponed. i SNOW AT WANGANUI. Wanganui, Las't Night. The weather during the past two or three days has been very unsettled. Heavy downpours of rain have occurred and the barometi-r has been low. A slight fall of snow took place to-night.
