PAN-ANGLICAN ALLOTMENTS. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright London, August 17. The following further amounts have been allotted in connection with the Pan-Anglican thanks offering:— Canada, £15,000. West Africa, £BOOO. China, £35,000. New Zealand, £2OOO. For religious education in South America, £3OOO. New Guinea and Melanesia, £OOO cacti. The committee has not yet decided respecting Australia's allotment. (The Pan-Anglican Congress was a rally of Anglican Churchmen for counsel and'' co-operation in mission work at home and abroad. Last February we were informed by cable that of the £223,000 unappropriated' Pan-Anglican i thanks offerings the sum of £2OOO had been apportioned to New Zealand.) _ London, August I'. The Pan-Anglican allocations are not fresh awards, hut the amount previously cabled, and now allocated, mainly in accordance with local recommendations. The remainder of the decisions await the result of local inquiries.
