MISTAKEN IDENTITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Wednesday. John AA in. Smith \vas charged with being the nun who visited a Chinaman's' house disguised as a policeman and robbed him ot £2O. The prosecutor identified him as the culprit, but the clearest evidence was given that he was not the mail, and lie was discharged without a stain on his character. Tlie Magistrate expressed regret at the annoyance caused him.
