ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
JONES-SCAXDLYN. An interesting wedding ceremony was performed at New Plymouth yesterday afternoon when Mr. Lewis Jones, second eon of Mr. Tom Jones of Uruti, w;is married to Miss Mary Elizabeth Scandlyn, of New Plymouth. The marriage took place at Hie residence of the bride's mother, where a number c' friends were entertained at the wedding breakfast. The l!ev. liny officiated The' bridesmaids were Miss K. Jones (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss Seandlyn (sister of the .bride). Mr. (i. Oxenham acted as best man, and the bride was given away by lier unole, Mr. Fetch, of Carrington road. A lane number of presents were received. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a gold Albert chain, while the bride received from the bridegroom a gold bracelet and a travelling rug. The bridesmaids received gold brooches from the bridegroom. After the usual toasts had been honored the happy couple left for their future home at Uruti.
