Bates' weather forecast:—The anticyclonic pressure is now giving way to a westerly area oi low pressure advancing upon inc South Inland. Steady rain, coming on as a drizzle, is.' probable in most parts 60Uth of New Plymouth and Napier, and changeable conditions farther north, especially on the West Coast. A freshening northerly 13 probable everywhere, with a falling barometer.
