The lifth and last test match of the tour between the English and Australian elevens has commenced and pro mises to he one of the most exciting and interesting ever piayed. The excellent scores put up by the two colts, Bardsley and Macartney, must give a feeling ol' pleasure to all Australians. As a matter of fact, the skill displayed by these young batsmen can but be admired by the whole of the cricketing world. What could give more pleasure than to see two boys of barely 20 years of age punishing with the greatest of ease the finest bowling in the world! There is only one thing, and that is the West End School entertainment which takes place in the Theatre Royal to-night. The High School Dramatic and Musical Society will offer a good and varied programme at the Whitelcy Hall on Thursday evening. The boys will jjreseat two scenes from that well-known costume play, "The Rivals," and also a complete one-act farce entitled "Bobbs, Doobs and Nobbs." The High School pupils ■will also be assisted by several local amateurs, and a thorougliy enjoyable evening may he expected.
