WEATHER FORECAST.

Following is Kev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast:—A decrease in barometric ipressure is now due over the South Island, and westerly winds, increasing and changing to high northerlies, are probable everywhere. The day will probably continue fine over the }>ortli Island, but rain is probable on the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island. The conditions will also gradually become more unsettled in other parts.
