The Anglo-Indian newspapers strongly commend the Muster of Elilmnk's declarations and firmness.
Extremists endeavoured to introduce seditious propaganda into th e native States of Maharajah and Gwalior and the Government determined to crush the movement at the outset. Thirty five agitators have been arrested and tried, four sentenced to seven years' imprisonment, and twenty-eight to shorter terms of imprisonment.
