Renter's Durban correspondent reports that the officers of the liner Guclph, which sighted the Waratah eastward of East London on the night of 27th July, state that the Waratah was then eight hours late. Communication was attempted, but t)io signals were indistinct. The Waratah was not flying signals' of distress at the time. The Runic arrived in Capetown yesterday. She took nn nut«ide course from Durban, but saw no trace of the Waratah..
