A iIUSTEUEK'S FATE. Fielding Monday. A young man named .loan Clieyne, living at U'tuwai, was riding alter sheep yesterday when his horse slipped and Clieyne was thrown. He was picked up in a state of unconsciousness, and when a doctor arrived life was extinct.
FOUND DKOWNEO. Waipawa, Monday. James Sinclair Logan, a single man, aged 31, who had been missing since Thursday, was found in a ercek near Taimumi on .Saturday afternoon. It is believed he tied his feet with a rope and his hands with wire and slid into the water. A verdict of temporary insanity was returned. Deceased was an inmate of a jiwutul hospital sonie years ago.
THE MAXGOUEI SHOOTING CASE. The hul Hale, who was injured in the shooting accident on Sunday, died shortly after twelve o'clock that night. The greatest sympathy is expressed for the bereaved parents. An inquest will be held at 2.30 p.m. to-day.
