London, August 0. Mr. Yarwood, representing the AueJralastian Corporation of Accountants, is urging the Colonial Oflico to grant the society a charter. He asserts that the Victorian Government in under a misapprehension, as the charter would not deprive the -existing institutes of their rights, under the Victorian legislation, but would enable the accountants of other States' to practice anywhere in Australia with the Australian degree. The Earl of Jersey is supporting the application.
