WEDDING.
DAVTDSOX-WHriEHEAD. On July 2flth, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. George Thomas Davidson was united in matrimony to Miss Esther Alison, second daughter of Mr. J. Whitehead, of Tikorangi. Rev. J. B. Brocklehurst officiated. Mr. Win. Davidson was best man. The bride was
given away by her -father, and was attired in a pretty pale grey, trimmed with tucked creme silk and grey medalion trimming, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and Tarried u beautiful bouquet. She also wore a gold brooch with amethysts, gift of the bridegroom. She was .attended bv Miss Muriel Whitehead, who looked very nice in a pretty brown dress with creine yoke and cull's, with hat to match, "'file bridesmaid wore a gold lu-ooch with rubies, the gift of the bridegroom. Aft "• the ceremony tile guests were outer tained at afternoon ton. which was served in a marquee. Mr. and Mrs. Davidson left by the evening train for Stratford, their future home amid showers of rice, and carrying with them the 'good wishes of the community. The presents were numerous and useful.
