THE TEAM FOR BRISBANE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Xew Zealand team of athletes f, - left to compete at the Australasian championships at Brisbane this month for Australia this evening by the Moc- <?. rnki, iijid were given a hearty send-off i by a hrge crowd of people. At noon members of the team were entertained at lunch. Dr. A. K. Newman, president if of tV Now Zealand Council, presided. V,i. NV.wiiiin said he was very pleased to ue able to wish the team success. There was no doubt the team would have been stronger with Orbeil, Murray, Haskins and Wallace. His own * belief, however, was the team would do 'extremely well, and lie hoped it would bring back the banner. Later in the dav the members of the team held a practice on the Basin Reserve.
