NGAMOTU v. WAITAUA. Twelve players from the, Xgamolu Golf C'lul) visited the Waitara links yes tcrday,' aiiii spent a very enjoyable day with tlie local golfers. They were most hospitably entertained by the local club. The following was the result of the day's play, the visiting players being mentioned first:—Elliott, 1 up on Smith; Matthews, 1 up on Ashton; Hansen, 1 up on Grimstone; Benbow,-1 up on Mitchell; Jones, aIT square with Kev. Brocktehuret; Rev. Evans 1 down with Eggles'ton; Mils Saxton 1 down to Mrs. Birdling; Miss Standish 1 up on Mrs. Grimstone; Miss Read, 1 down on Mrs. Vaughan: Mrs. Jones, 1 up on Miss C. Bayly; Miss S'nfith. all M|nare with Miss Bayly. Miss McKellar also went out with the team, but did not get a partner.
