TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
TO BE HELD IN NEW PLYMOUTH. 'The Taranaki Agricultural Society last night" discussed at some length the Society's winter show, to be held next Tggr, It was pointed out that there seemed to be some doubt in the minds
of people as to whether or not the show was to be held, and it was as well that the committee should make a forward movement go that the farmers would know for certain that they were to have an opportunity of showing their 'Mot'crops, etc. i The matter of accommodation was discussed, and it was pointed out that Drill Hall and other buildings
be obtainable. The committee v .if opinion that there need he no tear oil that score, but that sufficient accommodation would be obtainable, al. though there might be some inconveni"'it was decided to hold the show on some suitable date between the dates of the Auckland and Manawatu shows, and that the show probably extend over four days. The president (Mr. W. Arnbury) and Messrs S. Smith, H. J. Gilbert. A. McL. Thomson, W. Stanley, J. R. Hill, J. H. Street, G. Bishop and A W. Wood were appointed & committee to make preliminary arrangements.
