ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DROWNING FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Whangarei, Tuesday. Edward Mann, aged 29, a farmer by occupation and a married man with three children, while engaged loading a punt yesterday fell into the Ngunguru liver and was drowned. The body has not been recovered.
SUDDEN DEATH. Christchurch, Last Night. Robt. Carter Dunn, seventy years of age, residing at Linwood, died suddenly yesterday at the residence of Mrs. Restieaux, from iwhom he rented a room. He complained of pains in his head at times, and yesterday he shut himself m his room. Mrs. Restieaux knocked at the door about 7.30 p.m., and she did not Teceive any answer. With assistance she forced the door, and found him lying dead on the floor. The verdict at the inquest was death from rupture of the intestines.
