WOOL, BROKERS AND DRAFTING. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, July '2B. The wool brokers, <m the invitation of the London Chamber of Commerce considered :i proposal on drafting, which is to be submitted for discussion at the Empire Congress of Chambers of Commerce in Sydney. L. A. NOLAN & CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—On Saturday we had a good entry, about 2(10 birds being penned. There was a good demand for all classes, and consequently satisfactory prices were realised throughout. Hens brought from Is (id to 2s 4d, pullets up to 3s (id, cockerels Is till to 2s Id, roosters Is 7d to Is lid, turkey gobblers 4s Gd to Os, turkey liens Hs 3d to 4s, ducke is 4d to 2s, brood of chickens 3s Od. In the m art we disposed of a large quantity of shrubs and furniture at satisfactory prices.

Fruit.—This is in small supply. All consignments which have come to hand have found a ready market. Nelson apples opened well. We quote: Apple . S'turmers No. 1 8s Od, Sturmer3 No. : Os, Washingtons Bs, Red Dessert Bs, aI, bushel cases. There is at present a scarcity of Island fruit, consignments of which will arrive here on Monday.

WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Mart.—At the mart o;i Saturday last we had a big entry of poultry, and prices were high. Dueks were in big i: em a ml, ami high prices were realised.
