Sir Joseph Ward and party arrived in London all well. 0" arrival at Marseilles, Lady Ward was presented with a floral tribute by the citizens. At Dover, the mayor, aldermen, and a large number of people met the party. Today the mayor read an address of wel- ! come, expressing appreciation of New Zealand's action and goodwill. Replying, Sir Joseph Ward stated that New Zealand was desirous to help on all occasions in the interests of the Empire, so that the supremacy of the navy may lie established beyond all question. The mayor called for cheers, which were heartily given.
