TOLL-GATE AND SCALE OF TOLLS. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the County of Taraki, being the Local Authority having fltrol of the Main South Road within the, County of Taranaki. has in pursuance of the "Public Works Act, 1908," resolved to establish a Toll Gate on the Main South Eoad, aear' Puniho, between the Wereklno Stream and Minai Road, and has fixed the following scale of Tolls to be collected at such gate, namely:—

Single horse ridden or drives out of harness For every buggy or light vehicle drawn by one horse Each additional horse attached thereto For every Brougham Cab drawn by two horses .. Public notice is further given that such toll-gate will be called the "Punilio Toll-gate," and that such scale of tolls (•hall become first payable on the first day of August, 1909, and continued in force until the same shall be revoked or altered.
