A magisterial inquiry opened this morning *t Lyttelton, to investigate charges of drunkenness on tne part of Jdsepb Bradbury, late chief engineer of the steamship Storm, duly logged in tne official log-book of Hie vessel on May 20th, 1009. ~ ~ , ~ Counsel for respondent said that tne Storm, wliieli had been expeeveij to arrive that morning, was not in p?rt, and lie asked that the case should oc adjourned until Wednesday next.
