WAITARA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A very enjoyable euchre party under the auspices of the local Bowling Club was held on Tuesday evening. Notwithstanding the Avct weather, there was a very good attendance. The prizes were won by Miss Allan and Mr. Townsend. Afterwards dancing was indulged in, the music being supplied by Mrs. Xoswortliv and Misses Stoddart (2). "Mr. R. Foril acted as M.C. Polite Inspector Wilson paid Waitara a visit on Wednesday, when the matter of the insanitary state of the police station was 'brought under his notice. Mr. J. liodley, of the Railway Department, and formerly of Waitara'. impending his holiday here. Mr. liodley was an active member of the Clifton Football and Cricket Clubs last season, and his many friends were glad to see hiin again.
