HOCKEY
CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS.
To-day's matclics in both divisions will decide the two teams to meet in the final for the season's championship. In the north division the two leading teams, New Plymouth West and Carrington Road, meet at the. Racecourse ground; and Stratford and Hawoia umiiis will decide the south division premiership at Hawera. The teams will be as follow:
New Plymouth West (blue; and white). Goalkeeper, H. Price; full-backs, Reid and Itobson; half-backs, Maunder, Beal, and Turnbull; forwards, Dr. lookes, Crawford, A. Ambury, R. Ambury, G. Pearce. , , Carrington Road (yellow and black).— Claphain, Bruce, A. McEwon, W. McEwen, H. McEwen, Hudson, Jordan, Perliam, N. Perry, F. Perry, and A. Marett.
The only other fixture set down for to-day is that between the loglewood A and B teams.
The team to represent sh« (aiyrtll division in the trial match to be played at New Plymouth to-day week will be chosen to-night.
