AUCKLAND DOCK TO BE SUBSIDISED By Cable.—Press Association—Copy righ. Received July 20, 10 p.m. London, Juljn2o. Mr. Reginald JlcKenna (First ot the Admiralty), replying to Sir. C. C. Craig, stated that £150,000 will be paid for a period of thirty years, at the rate of 13000 annually, to the Auckland Harbor Board by way of subsidy to the Calliope dry dock. This was granted with a view to getting the dock properly equipped. The only other subsidised dock is at Colombo.
