The Stratford Dairy Factory to-day pays out to suppliers the sum of .C2S2O as a bonus of %d per lb on butter-fat supplied during the past season. The Ngaire, Cardiff and Lowgarth factories, at) the rate of Id per lb, will disburse 51687, £-121)2, and iUUIi respectively by way of bonus to their suppliers.—Post. Messrs. J. Brown and A. " stumping the country" on behalf of the National Dairy Association. Th-'rr mission is to persuade tlie dairy factory directorates to guarantee again the salary of a Home agent for a further term. Mr. Charles Mackie's work ad Home was of such value that the Association is a loser by his retirement, and the result of his labors makes it imperative in the eyes of the Assoei-'r tion to have a representative in England to watch the interests of New Zealand producers of butter and cheese. On Saturday the delegates, who are a por. tion of a committee appointed at the annual meeting of the National JJalry Association, met the representatives of the Maketawa, Moa, Tarikf, Leppcrtai, Waitui, and Tarata companies, and received good promises of support. Okato and Warea directors will meet thc| delegates at Okato to-day. Waitara-, will be visited on Friday, when tile project will be laid before the Waitara-1 road, North Taranaki, Tikorungi, I'ruti I and Pukearuhc companies. A Hireling! will be held at New Plymouth on Saturday when there will be a gathering of the'directors of the Bell Block, Hillsborough, Mangorei, Frankley lload, Ilurford Boad, Omata, Oakura, and Tarurutangi companies. Other delegates arc "stnmumg" the rest of the North Island.
