EVIDENCE AT TilE INQUEST. MRS. STREIT CHARGED WITH MURDER. Received July 10, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Last Niglit. Letters written by Mrs. Streit to Mrs. Healy were read at the inquest, wherein she stated that she loved deceased and wus jealous of another woman with whom he was 011 friendly terms, adding that she had told Healy that her heart was broken and she intended to kill herself. Mrs. Streit was present in custody on a charge of murdering Ilealy, [The police entered a house at VViolcham, a Newcastle suburb, last Friday, and found the dead body of a man I.amed Healy, while a woman named Streit was lying beside him. The police had received a letter that both of them intended to die together. Streit stated that the man shot himself. She had not the courage to do the same.
