It is understood that Canadian underwriters have secured 55 per cent, of the new loan. A cable last month stated that Canada was issuing a loan of £<i,500,000 bearing 3</ 2 per cent, interest, at £9B 10s, with the option to holders of four million 4 per cents, to convert.
