PECULIAR FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, July 13. John Mcßurney, a middle-aged man., was found on Sunday hanging with his head between a picket fence in tie main street. He was alive when extricated, but died this morning in the hospital. It is supposed that his death was the result of a fit. An inquest will be held. . DEATH AT SEA. Wellington, Last Night. Elizabeth Cammock, aged 17, who was coming with her parents from Scotland to Wellington by the steamer Athenie, died from pneumonia last Sunday, and . was buried at sea yesterday. The police has been advised that on Monday George Henry Ferguson, aged 26, was killed at Niagara, near Waikawa, by a falling tree rebounding and itrikng hm on the-head. """" MISSING MAN FOUND. Wellington, Last Night. The police to-night received telegraphic advice from Otaki that the man Hugh Cockerill, who had been missing since Friday, has been found alive and well.
