Air. 13. Tippins was last night appointed to tiie position of general inspector under the Borough Council. Mr. K (ireat'bach, ex-postmaster of Potoire, was the recipient on Saturday of a purse of sovereigns in token of the esteem of the local people. Mr A reattach is nbont to take up his residence ill New Plymouth.
