Wellington, Last Night, The returns of hemp graded for export during the month of June totalled lor the whole Dominion 5143 bales, or an increase of 1312 bales over the corresponding period of 1008. '.rim twelvemonthly period, however, shows a very heavy decrease. The bales graded for the two years ended June 3l)th were as follow:—PJoS, 107,57!) bales; 1009, 70.782 bales, a decrease of 30,71)7 bales.
. ie six. months ended June 30th the •position was as follows:—1008, 55,131: bales; 1900, 42,501 bales, a decrease of 12,570 bales. The principal contributors iii bales for the months of June 1008 add B)0!) were as follows:—Wellington, 100!) 2,150, IMIS 1,003; Koxton, 1420 and 003; Auckland, 055 and 407; Dunedin, 388 and 315; Blnlf, 334 and 230; Lyttelton Ida. Tile total output for the month was 5143 as above stated. "Good lair" predominated at Wellington for .lime of this year, whereas the largest quantity graded for June last year was "fair grade," There were lll'ill bales of tow graded for the year, second grade predominating, mid' 22 bales (Auckland) were condemned,
