WIANGAXUI POULTRY SHOW. By I'elegTaph.—Press Association. V/anganui, Last Night. The Wanganui poultry show concluded to-day. It was a decided success, the entries numbering over 700, and the birds, taken altogether, were very fine. Bad weather spoiled the attendance. SOUTH ISLASD-' CHAMPIONSHIPS. Nelson, Last Night. At the Nelson Poultry Association's annual show, the South Island championships were won as follows:—White Leghorns, A. France (Seddon)Silver Wyandottes, Bctts and Coleman (Nelson); Orpingtons, A. Sowinan (Blenheim); White Wyandottes, J. L. Lord (Blenheim); Blown Leghorns, E. Maxted (Blenheim); Plymouth Rocks, 11. C. Jacka (Nelson); Old English game, W. Coleman (Nelson); ducks, Fairey and Best (Nelson). Pigeons Clean longfaced tumbler, H. W. Littlejohn (Wellington); magpie, M. G. Greeiiside (Wellington). Canaries, Hamilton and Kerr (Nelson). The Association's two-guinea trophy for jacobins, owls, fantails and turbots was won outright by E. J. Fallu (Wellington). M. G. Grcenside secured a leg-in for the Magpie Cup. Aiders, Littlejohn, Grecnside and Fallu scored heavily in the pigeon classes.
