TUKAPA v. INGLEWOOD. At Inglewood yesterday afternoon Tukapa met and defeated Inglewood by 17 points to 3. For the winners tries were scored by J. Stohr (2), Loveridgc (2), and B. Stohr (1). J. Stolir converted one try. Stanley scored the try for Inglewood. ELTOAM v. CLIFTON. Eltliam seniors forfeited to Clifton yesterday. The Eltliam team is earning for itself an unenviable reputation in this respect, they having forfeited the last match of last season in the same way. On this occasion their action was the more unsportsmanlike because Clifton had decided to devote the proceeds of the match to tin: Bayly Memorial Fund. Opportunity was also to haye been taken to select the leading players on the Clifton side to receive trophies donated by supporters. SECOND GRADE tukapa in v. inglewood ii. Inglewood defeated Tukapa on the Recreation"Ground by 12 points to nil.

THIRD GRADE TUKAPA v. INGLE WOOD. Inglewood's second juniors boat Tiikapa by 15 to nil. Tlie High School defeated the "Merry Widowers " by 3 to nil, Ambury scoring thv only try. For the victors, Brown, Lusk and Maloy were the most prominent in the forwards, and Adlam, AmJmry, and Bellringer in tile backs. For the losers, in the forwards Mumbv, Whitcombe and Thompson played weii, Kurangi, Jennings and Willis being the best of the backs. The ground was very heavy. The semi-final match between Opunake and Waimate teams, winners respectively of the Western and Southern Divisions, is to take place on Saturday at Opunake, that team having won the toss for choice of ground. It is said that Opunake cannot raise a strong team, and had it fallen to their lot to travel would probably have had to forfeit.
