At the opening of the science building, erected at St. Paul's Schools to commemorate the fourth centenary of the schools, Lord Curzon referred to the manner in which the schools during late years had responded to the requirement* of the period, and strongly deprecated the spirit of pessimism and self-depreca-tion current among ourselves.
