BURGLARS IN CHRISTCHURCH
By Telegraph.—Press Association, Christcluireh, Last Night, _ It is stated that a number oi.pn ,i,. l n:s in Ohristcliurch were burglariously entered last night, although the thieves 'got little satisfaction for their enterprise Two offices situated in Gloucester Mrcet were , ransacked at a late hour, rlio burglars evidently gained admission with skeleton keys, and proceeding to the office of 11. L. Friend, they ■picked the Jock of the door and went through the premises. Fortunately the local manager banked late in the afternoon, and the only reward t-io tli.eves got was a small amount of loose silver : from a drawer. Leonard Blake's office opposite was next ransacked, and the' drawers forced open, but the thieves Mine away empty, as nothing of value bad been left in the office. It is understood that other premises were also entered.
