INTERESTING FIGURES. By Telegraph.— Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. Hon. J. A. Millar (Acting-Minister .if Finance) states the revenue for the quarter ended June 30th last amounted to £1,82<>,596, showing a net increase of £34,678 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. The rail; H'aya were responsible for an increase of £02,338 and the land and income tax £4063. Customs show a decrease of £38,085, stamps £22,508 and territorial £20,308. For the year ended June 30th last the revenue totalled £9,035,803, or £20,975 less than the revenue for the year ended June, 1008. Among the increases railways represent £183,152 and land and income tax £00,151. Customs returns for the year were less by £259,554, and territorial revenue was' less by £94,113.
