KING EDWARD'S REMINDER. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 7, 10.55 p.m. London, July 7. Afte r the review of the East Lancashire Territorials, King Edward, replying to an address by the corporation, presented by Urd Carrington, reminded his auditors that the district had witnessed in times' past many conflicts between hostile force, '•.but,'' he continued, "I am confident the patriotic spirit of my people k «» strong as ev»r and thai no effort will be wanting on | their part to prepare for any risk, however remote."
